We're at Week 28 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and the theme of "Through the Window." I really wanted to take a picture of Mr. Bojangles at the living room window, since he likes to bark at the delivery people or anyone coming to the front door or on our porch from that window; however, it was too dark inside and I had problems focusing past both the screen and window glass. So, I decided the window by the back door would be best as it is the only window without any kind of screen on it (because it's also the only window that doesn't open.) There's a chair right by the window, so Mr. Bojangles had a place to sit.
I really like how shooting through the window panes gives a smooth, soft look to the image. To look through some more windows, head over to Tara Sutherland, New Zealand Pet Photography, and then around the rest of the (very short this week) blog circle until you end up back here.
