For Week 15 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 we have the theme of "Then and Now." We could interpret the theme freely from showing our progress as a photographer, showing the progression of our pet over time, or the differences of time or seasons on a location, or anything else we felt represented the theme. Since I was able to find one of the very first pictures I took of Mr. Bojangles (from the day he was adopted) I decided to go with a picture from then and one of him from now.
Here is Mr. Bojangles in his THEN, the very first day he came to his new home. He was adopted March, 5, 2011, from Recycled Doggies. I'd gone to donate some pet food to the Cincinnati Pet Food Pantry and, once I saw "Rags" as he was then called, it was all over. I'd found my dog. Mr. Bojangles in the NOW, four years after being adopted (and four more pounds of weight). He's a little grumpy in the now, simply because I woke him up from a nap to take his picture. I wanted to get it in the same spot by the front door, but he was not as cooperative in turning in the same direction as his THEN picture. Now for more "Then and Now" head over to Trix Pix Photography, Melbourne, Australia, and then around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
